Bariatric Surgery Professor at Australian Metabolic and Obesity Surgery
In the last 24 hours, two major publications have been released with important long-term data on the safety and effectiveness of Bariatric Surgery.
The first paper was 5-year outcomes from the Australian Bariatric Surgery Registry, and the second paper was 5-year outcomes from the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity.

1 个月It is great to see some more information on long term outcomes for weight loss surgeries. As someone who has undergone one of the mentioned procedures there is certainly a lot of post operative information and changes that were not noted. Research like this will help people make fully informed decisions about their health.
