Breaking My Silence

I am breaking the Silence because under this compulsory Burqa

I do have a voice.

I want the world to know that I do not wear this garment by choice.

This sack on my head is a mocking cloak?

A Man-made practice designed to see me choke.


I am Breaking My Silence

to lend you a hand in abandoning your extremist ways?

I counsel you,

As I know it's a question of choice!


Withdraw from these archaic practices and revoke,

these foolish days are coming to an end.

Preferably, before the final day

I will contest in the Ultimate court and make you pay!?

I hope and pray the Taliban or any other extremist groups reading this gets this message.
