Breaking the Mould: How Capacity Building is Driving Social and Behavioural Change

Breaking the Mould: How Capacity Building is Driving Social and Behavioural Change

In the work that we do to bring behavior and social change, we strive to solve complex issues faced by the community. Many times, we get the same traditional implementer ‘expert’ problem-solving approach to all situations. However, each problem is set in a specific context and is driven by many behavioral, social, and environmental factors. Here is where P-process comes in. The P Process framework was developed by Johns Hopkins Center for Communications Programs (CCP) in 1982 and after that continues to evolve and contribute to strengthening communication programs around the world. It provides a step-by-step roadmap that relies on evidence to inform the message and has a measurable impact on the audience. The course will guide the learners toward developing an understanding of the P Process, its five steps and sub-steps, and its application to their ongoing programs.

To understand the process better, Impact Academy is elated to announce a brand new self-paced offering with the Center for Communication and Change India, a sister concern of the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs to access ready-to-use templates and relevant examples from public health and social development sector in your social impact programs.

The 6 short modules of this learner profile-based algorithmic self-paced Certificate course are delivered in the form of recorded videos supported by resources, templates, and end-of-module assignments.?
