Breaking Ground for Innovation: Biosynth’s new R&D Center

Biosynth, a leading in life sciences reagents, custom synthesis and manufacturing services company headquartered in Staad, Switzerland, on April 15, 2024 proudly announced the start of construction for its visionary new office and R&D facilities in Suzhou, China. Now, with the unveiling of the new office designed and managed by VIRTUARCH, works are on the way which will set new standards in the quality and functionality of the workspace and laboratories of Biosynth in China.

Mrs. Alessandra Vismara, the General Manager of Biosynth China, initiated the works with a gilded hammer, not to destroy, but to create. As the first crack appears, it heralds the birth of a space where creativity knows no boundaries, collaboration flourishes, and science will bloom. With each strike, the wall gives way, paving the path for a future where innovation and excellence will reign.

At the heart of Biosynth China lies a vision of innovation and adaptability. Virtuarch designed the space according to this vision of Biosynth, to inspire creativity and collaboration, resulting in a bright, open workspace that invites exploration and engagement. Virtuarch proposed a central multifunction area which builds the heart of the space, creating a vibrant communal hub where ideas converge and connections flourish. This generous, high space with a mezzanine for informal meetings incorporates the pantry, social and community functions. This multifunctional space not only fosters collaboration, but also provides a flexible training area, reflecting Biosynth's commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Beyond the central pantry, the interior design of Virtuarch boasts an expansive open office area, carefully curated to promote flexibility of work and communication. Here, amidst the sleek and modern aesthetic, employees are empowered to navigate seamlessly between tasks, driving innovation and productivity.
