For Kaadambari, Sutej Singh’s latest single, we had the privilege of collaborating with Aadya Naik, an artist whose deep appreciation for music translates into stunning visual storytelling.

The Creative Journey

Aadya first discovered Sutej Singh’s music in 2019, instantly connecting with its immersive and cinematic quality. So when she was approached by Yaduveer in October 2024 to design the artwork for Kaadambari, it felt like a full-circle moment.

Balancing a corporate job on weekdays, Aadya dedicates her weekends to creating music-based art—her true passion. This project became a deeply fulfilling experience, blending her love for music, storytelling, and design into a singular, meaningful piece.

The Vision & Process

Sutej came into the project with a strong artistic vision, providing a detailed mood board filled with references and themes. However, what made this collaboration unique was the balance between structure and creative freedom—clear direction with space for artistic interpretation.

Every element of the artwork was carefully crafted to reflect the themes of the song, Sutej’s identity, and Indian mythology. The process involved multiple iterations, layering textures, adjusting compositions, and fine-tuning colors until the final version felt harmonious and complete.

Symbolism & Meaning

1. Goddess Saraswati & The Lotus ????

The name Kaadambari is often linked to Goddess Saraswati, the Hindu deity of wisdom, music, and the arts. Traditionally, Saraswati is depicted with a veena, a classical Indian instrument, seated on a lotus, symbolizing knowledge and purity.

?? In this artwork, Sutej’s guitar replaces the veena, reinterpreting this symbolism in a modern, deeply personal way. It’s a fusion of tradition and contemporary artistry, much like the song itself.

2. The Cuckoo Bird & The Magic of Music ???

The cuckoo bird is a symbol of poetry, melody, and lyrical beauty, often appearing in Indian folklore. In this artwork:
