Enhancing The Productivity & Alignment Of Your Team While "Creating Sustainable Solutions Together"
When the stress becomes too much things can snap. They Don't Have To...
Yes, as human beings this is possible for us too, and especially in these C-19 times.
The importance of having the difficult conversation and creating an opening for change.
I was meeting with a friend after work yesterday and I was listening to her explain about
the stress and frustration of her job, and the responsibilities of taking care of her 90+ year
old parents in an assisted living center. It was heart breaking listening and understanding
the story coming out of her mouth. It was like a tape recording of some science fiction
horror story just flowing out... We can all fall into this coping trap when we stop seeing and
facing the facts. If we begin justifying or rationalizing behavior which is intolerable. Abuse
is generational and hers had been going on for over 60+ years. The first steps in healing are
becoming aware of the trauma and being willing to acknowledge it truthfully for what
happened. Until this occurs, and one is able to articulate it and talk about the feelings
and emotions, those triggered reactions will continue in their lives and the lives of their
spouses and children. Breaking the cycle of generational abuse is possible when you are
ready to! This is good news and help is available when you ask for it. This is one example
of breaking through limiting beliefs, which are tragically effecting millions of people around
the world. We can heal and elevate any trauma to wellness and a life you really want to live,
when you are ready to. This is the foundation for happiness, longevity and optimal productivity.
