Breaking the Chains: Beyond the Tides of Conflict

Breaking the Chains: Beyond the Tides of Conflict

Wisdom Bridge-Introduction:

Through evocative poetry and reflective musings, the author hopes to invite readers on a profound inner journey, celebrating the nuanced beauty of life and the shared humanity.

Inspired by Dr. D. V. Gundappa's (DVG) Manku Thimmana Kagga, this is a humble attempt to introduce its timeless wisdom to a global audience. The poems delve into the deeper questions of life, offering insights on how to lead a balanced life amidst the complexities and constant changes by adopting a moderate and pragmatic approach. DVG's original work remains a crown jewel of Kannada literature and is celebrated as modern Bhagavad Gita.

MUSINGS:

Life often presents itself as a delicate balance between beauty and struggle, joy and fear. In every bond we form, there is a duality—where love brings warmth, it also carries the weight of expectation and doubt. This tension shapes our experiences, as we navigate through moments of laughter and sorrow, yearning for both connection and freedom.

The poem reflects this fragile dance, showing how conflict seeps into even the most cherished parts of our lives. But within the chaos, there is a deeper truth: only when we rise above these dualities—when we release both fear and fleeting joy—can we find true peace. Beyond the constant flow of life’s highs and lows, there lies a place of stillness, where freedom waits, untouched by the struggles we face.

This poem invites readers to reflect on the inner journey of breaking free from worldly strife, encouraging a path toward liberation. The challenge is not to escape life, but to transcend it.

BREAKING THE CHAINS

?

In beauty’s light, a shadow always falls,

And in our bonds, the heart is often torn.

For every joy, a silent fear may rise,

Where peace is sought, the seeds of doubt are born.

We walk through life, with love and pain entwined,

A fragile dance of laughter, tears, and grace.

The ties that hold us bring both warmth and weight,

Yet in their clasp, we yearn for boundless space.

But in the stillness, past the ebb and flow,

Beyond the clashing waves of loss and gain,

There lies a shore untouched by fear’s embrace,

Where freedom waits, unburdened by the strain.

So, rise above the world’s unending strife,

Release the chains of fear and fleeting bliss.

For only then, will wisdom light your path,

And in that light, true liberation is.
