AI systems for healthcare settings need to be strictly evaluated to make sure they meet sufficient quality, safety, and ethical standards. BS 30440:2023?is a new British standard that synthesizes a wide body of information on assessing AI in healthcare into an actionable and informative framework. By embedding these principles early in the design phase, institutions can support conscientious innovation, promoting the secure application of AI while safeguarding patients' rights and enhancing overall care delivery.
