Breaking barriers: Key takeaways from our third LSP Tech Talk on "Tech in the language industry"

We are delighted to share with you that our third lingo systems | Tech Talk , held two days ago, was a great success with around 400 attendees from various sectors of the industry and from places all over the world, like London, Barcelona, Ghana, Texas, Mumbai, Uruguay and many more. It literally was an international blast!?

Our six expert speakers Elena Murgolo , Klaus Fleischmann , Andre Hemker , Giorgia Di Mattei , Myriam Garcia Vizuete and Paloma Benlloch Rodríguez held exciting and insightful presentations on different yet important topics around “Tech in the language industry”.??

From automating customer systems, human parity, practical cases concerning quality and automation, to MT+PE processes with sensible content, and synchronizing layouts and texts in translations, all speakers shared interesting insights, best practices, experiences, and ideas.??

For example, Paloma Benlloch Rodríguez from Quorum Language Solutions discussed her company’s latest hurdles when dealing with translations of sensitive and confidential legal texts and gave a great understanding of how they tackled certain problems and presented their out-of-the-box solution for MT+PE processes.??

Another interesting real-life case presentation was held by Myriam Garcia Vizuete and Giorgia Di Mattei from Kobalt Languages and Happy Scribe . They shared individual solutions using technologies like MT, integrations, and AI.?

Despite the different topics covered, all presentations demonstrated the importance of exchange in the industry, bringing together experts, tech-savvy and like-minded people for sharing thoughts, ideas, and networking. Aside from the amazing presentations, we also had informative #breakout #sessions which encouraged attendees to directly engage with the experts and participate in discussions and exchanges. The "lingo systems experts" channel covered specific technical topics and we discussed first ideas about further technical improvements, while the "ChatGPT" channel provided an engaged interchange of experiences around this hot and omnipresent topic.??

In our event, we once again witnessed firsthand the power of bringing together professionals to share thoughts, ideas, and experiences.
