Break On Through To The Other Side.

Breakthrough - 1. a sudden, dramatic, and important discovery or increase in knowledge.

I love a good breakthrough. I mean a real breakthrough–one that changes me in a big way. One that sets me in a new direction or solves a problem that previously felt unsolvable.?

Clients come to me when they are in need of such a breakthrough.

They have successful lives and businesses but something isn’t working–and they are ready to be on the other side of what no longer works.?

They want to feel stronger, clearer and more free in their roles as a business-owners, parents, spouses.?

They want to be more powerful in their sales and how and what they charge.?

They want to get out of overwhelm and overcommitment and to feel more present and joyful in the great lives and businesses they’ve built.?

And when we first talk, I can immediately see what they’ve outgrown, what is blocking their success and what is holding them back in their lives.?

One of my superpowers is being able to see right away what is in someone’s way that they can’t see and what needs to go.?

When my clients understand exactly what’s blocking their energy and money and we create a plan to remove what doesn’t work, they get what they desire—whether that’s peace, freedom, clarity, calm, saying no with ease, or increasing sales and enjoying more prosperity.

That’s the breakthrough we work toward—and it’s specific for each person I work with.

There is no one-size-fits-all cookie-cutter solution, and no one size-fits-all cookie-cutter breakthrough.?

For instance, my client Leah came to me overwhelmed. One of the first things I noticed was that her house was gorgeous and perfectly organized, until you got to her office. It was filled with her family’s junk–all the stuff that they didn’t want was tossed on her desk and around the room.

As we sat in her office and talked, Leah slid further down in her chair. She finally was realizing that her cluttered office was a metaphor for every other area in her life. It was all about how her lack of boundaries was draining her precious time and energy. From her boss, to her kids, to her husband and mother in law, she handled everyone else’s problems–and everyone else’s stuff–all the time. She was beyond overwhelmed and exhausted. There was no way she could possibly grow her business–it was all she could do to maintain it.

Her first step was to take control in her physical space by clearing out all the accumulated clutter and that clearing eventually expanded out to every area in her life. Clearing out all the accumulated "clutter" (that can mean people, places and things) eventually expanded out to every area in her life. She implemented boundaries, started saying no, and stopped volunteering for everything. Not only was she finally able to enjoy her family and the beautiful life she’d created through all her hard work, she also doubled her sales the next month.

Like many of my clients, we’ve stayed in touch long after we worked together. Each time we catch up or she has a tune-up session, I’m delighted to hear she’s held those boundaries firm–and can now say she is in the driver's seat of a life and business she loves.

"There is no one-size-fits-all cookie-cutter solution, and no one size-fits-all cookie-cutter breakthrough." Do you have a framework or system that you draw from to identify where to focus for each client, or is it largely based on intuition?

Tandy, you've nicely described a fact of human psychology - others can more easily see why we're stuck they we can see for ourselves. And a corollary to that is others can also more readily see a solution. Great post!

Now I am going to have an earworm from The Doors stuck in my head all day ??

It's amazing how our mindsets are connected to our physical world and vice versa Tandy Pryor.

Tandy Pryor clutter weighs us down tremendously, which is why it feels so good to de-clutter. How long did it take for Leah to declutter her office?
