The theme for International Women’s Day this year is Break the Bias, and there is still a long way to go to break the bias and achieve gender parity worldwide.??According to the World Bank’s?Women, Business and the Law 2022?report, globally about 2.4 billion women of working age are not afforded equal economic opportunity and 178 countries maintain legal barriers that prevent their full economic participation.
The list goes on, and these figures show there is still a long way to go to achieve gender equity. We can all do our part to break the bias, no matter how big or how small the part you play. Whether it is at home with your children, calling it out in the office, or even campaigning or getting involved on a political level.

The corporate environment is very much favoured towards extroversion and it's often the case of she who shouts loudest gets the recognition, gets the reward, and gets ahead. The quieter ones often get overlooked.?On the Quietly Visible podcast this week I talk about breaking the introvert bias. Click on the podcast link to listen to what I had to say.
