Break the Bias, Build Up a Woman

With the theme of International Women's Day 2022 being "Break the Bias," it's meant to?shine?a spotlight on both the individual and collective biases against women that fuel gender inequality.?Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn't enough. Action is needed to level the playing field.

For all of us at Jump Recruits, this theme resonates deeply because it's ingrained in the foundation of every action we take both internally and amongst all of our client partnerships. Every single day our team strives to build community and create spaces for diverse +?inclusive environments to thrive. Now, more than ever before, organizations?are taking active measures to hire people from diverse backgrounds and gender equality can easily be?the first step. Our JUMP team reflects a pretty balanced gender ratio split, oftentimes leaning more heavily to a female majority!?

When we look at breaking down the existing biases, we can find many modern day female pioneers working hard to break down barriers across the globe. The women we highlight below are only a select few of the hundreds of thousands of women (and men) working every day to create change.
