Break all the rules by doing exactly what they want
Nerf guns aren't just my son's favorite toy they are an obsession. We've banished him to outside play only due to the constant, annoying noises and the fear of the cats. He follows the rules (most of the time) and he really wants to bring the guns to school to show his friends. Maybe you are ahead of me here and are thinking, "Bring guns to school?". He never asked because he knows better.
But there's Science.
He's in 5th grade and has the task of creating his own experiment, and as a family we highly encourage experiments and creative learning. A note came home today asking for permission for my son to conduct a well designed science experiment.
His hypothesis is "A chocolate bar will break when shot by a Nerf gun."
What are we to do? :)

8 年I think that is a great hypothesis. If it were me I'd let him go for it as long as the experiment is conducted at home. A more PC person might check with the teacher first. :-)
