Bread and Circus - Are You Not Entertained?

The tell tale sign, that green open to work frame, has become far more prevalent on LinkedIn since October. This is a reflection of the tech and corporate lay-offs. They blame AI, with the Tech cartel working an additional PR number to keep ahead of the open source community by banning it. Horse and stable door should come to mind rather than the Trojan horse of tech fallacy we should not fear. Fact is the Baltic Exchange volumes (shipping and freight numbers) are down 69%, food is the elephant in the room and inflation and interest rate rises make life even easier for those profiting from wealth.

The plate spinning short-term greed culture is almost successfully polishing the turd, tossing on gloss and glitter, with MSM supplying the bread and circus. They know these fantasy corporate profits to pay the beloved hard working shareholders, REITs and bondholders, are coming from throwing good people, aka consumers, under the bus. But truth is an interesting career move when it is bad for business.

Oh but picture those inspiring, industrious little economic gremlins, cute, cuddly, furry, peddling like fury, inside the financial machines of the banksters keeping the derivatives and profits plates spinning for now. Meanwhile the IT crowd and we Work Ethic Believers have unwittingly been powering the global hamster wheel while Timothy nice but dims have traded with the good old banksters to create the "LDI crisis" in the pensions industry and wider economy.

No one in the Media including Mr Altman or the conscience of Google are talking about the High Frequency Trading platforms of the top 10 banks that drive 90% of daily trades. They don't care about our pensions, fact is ethics and moral hazard are uneasy bedfellows in the corporate world which is why they sacked them. It's buy back the shares, take the options, drive them up and sell them before the music stops. The last time they saw collateral damage like this was when they played pass the parcel in a 1970's Belfast pub.

Some surprising talent has been thrown under the bus, awakened to the real world for the first time, they must adapt before the middle class is morphed into a working class that will take its place in the new post reset feudal system. Many have joined the 'sell what you know brigade' over the last few months, trying to shout above the noise of slick snake oil selling consultants. They give the good one's a bad name.

The mask is cracking though, supply chains, job losses and financial time bombs are coming home to roost. For decades talent has been wasted by the system, at the education stage and then the work place that sells us opportunity and equality. On a planet of finite resources consumerism is going to have to be rationed with the top 10% getting the perks the 1% allow them for their loyalty. The system is as fake as an influencer, with future prospects akin to an electric kettle made from chocolate. In the words of the once steeped in working class docklands football club West Ham's 'I'm forever Blowing Bubbles' song, 'like our dreams they fade and die'.

We do not need to be divided our souls conquered, pre-trained to be wage slaves by the debt the system forces us to take on - school, housing, HP, smart phone contracts, and credit cards. They actually maintain feudalism rather than afford the opportunity that credit and free market enterprise (now a cartel) afforded humankind to get us out of the caves.

As well as the eradication of the middle class, the time when our children's futures would be brighter than our own has also been stolen from us. Apple's gormless goggles are certainly not what human's need. Another tool to distract people from reality - classic bread and circus - to keep the plebs from facing reality at a tipping point in civilisation. There are 5 acres for every human being to live and bathe in the bountiful joy of our planet. So instead of taking on another debt to profit a corporation, that will rape our planet of precious resources, why not instead open our eyes, hearts and minds to collaborate, Together we can community wealth build and #sowstudysustain

Necessity is the mother of invention. Now, during the decay phase of our now well past it's sell by date economic system, take a fresh look at things. By harnessing the new AI tech and, the low tech of vertical circular economy growing, we, the people as village, town and city communities have the opportunity to push back and push up - because we know it won't trick down.

We need to work together in harmony with nature and go back to basics. Think around the four factors of production. Land, Labour, Capital and Enterprise, with the community at it's heart will remove the horrible middlemen who rent seek (want an unearned cut) at every opportunity. Thanks to the Sunak give away they grabbed even more of the wealth and assets to rent it back to us at every stage of the chain. That was the cause of inflation - irresponsibly printing ￡1.35tn within an economy of ￡3tn GDP. To say anything different defies economic theory and is an affront to common sense.

Land (for work, growing and housing) without the rentiers ground rent would mean Labour needs to earn less before it can spend. The cartel running the supply chains (energy, food, finance) knows this, so they work hand in hand with the retailers to give the illusion of choice, to drive up profits. Question is do they want to share or just set themselves up before the inevitable reset? That will be post Central Bank Digital Currency in 2025, maybe earlier if the plate spinning ends with a financial crash happens in Q4 of 2024. We will be coerced for our own good (bribed) 'Problem,Reaction,Solution style' with a universal basic income - with less than golden handcuffs attached. Based on health and being a model citizen, however its value and the rations we get, will mirror what's left of our rights, something our now fashionable and invaluable unions are fighting for.

Common decency suggests it is time they chipped in, let's give them a helping hand, give them a spade or the tools to get them out digging green mines with us, the community, not continuing to fill their pockets, without having to work for it. You can't eat money in bank vaults or gold mines time for them to be part of the community work ethic that will get us all a future. It might just inspire our kids to be secure enough to have families of their own to help our aging populations.
