A new video, ‘Saving Jane',?takes aim at the link between investments by pension providers and deforestation. Viewers follow a saver’s lifelong dream of using her pension pot to visit a tropical rainforest in her retirement – only to discover that her hard-earned savings have been financing the companies tearing down the natural world she has long cared for.?

Debuting at the end of July, the animation resonated strongly with audiences on social media, reaching over 1 million views in just two weeks. The video was created by Global Canopy , Make My Money Matter and Global Witness and endorsed by Dr Jane Goodall DBE, and features an exclusive recording from Peter Gabriel.
