Bravo Bravo Sydney Trains !!!

Every day when I take Sydney Trains from Turramurra, I am constantly shocked by the state of disrepair at my station. For at least eight years, there has been an uncovered cable route—a glaring example of neglect. This issue is visible to everyone on the platform, and it’s not the only one in the area. Over the past eight years, there have been at least 50 weekends (100 days) when trains were replaced by buses to allow for maintenance work. Yet, despite these regular maintenance windows, this obvious problem has been completely ignored, as if it doesn’t even exist.

In contrast, other railways and metro systems, which operate continuously and rely on only a few hours of nightly maintenance access, manage to maintain far better conditions. This stark difference raises serious questions about Sydney Trains’ priorities and efficiency.

Meanwhile, ongoing strikes labeled as "protected industrial actions" are causing significant delays and frustrations for commuting taxpayers. And while Sydney Trains continues to demand more funding, basic maintenance issues—like the uncovered cable route—remain overlooked for years.

Bravo, Sydney Trains! Bravo for asking for more money while letting such glaring problems persist. It’s truly astonishing how something so simple can be ignored for so long.
