BRAVENESS AND TOGETHERNESS

These could very well be the words that mark our 2022, personally and professionally, for all of us at WIN World. And I couldn't be happier and prouder, for having the feeling of mission accomplished and for embracing 2023 in such an inspired way for new challenges, commitments and growths. May braveness and togetherness be with us all!

The beauty of this starts with an incredible group of people that joined the WIN World team over time, and that after having caught a pandemic that led us to transform the business and take our ideas and concepts into a more perfect combination of platforms - physical and virtual - that made everything more interesting and even more global, decided this year to dare and challenge lives, careers, projects and clients. And of course, new things only manifest and materialize if on the other side there are people with the same drive, the same bravery and the same desire to create and build together. And we were indeed very fortunate throughout 2022. What a ride we all took!

From the inside out, we witnessed our people embracing the world as their zone. In reality, WIN World has become much more global and with a team that travels a lot, either on project or because people have family in various parts of the globe and it is important to maintain connections and proximity with our loved ones the best we can. Teams and organization were flexible, naturally adjusting to time zones and making it all normal, but this also proved that the remote works for a lot of things really well when responsibility, commitment and culture exist.

Another thing we saw was people embracing new areas and new responsibilities, and with all their heart and professionalism, performed in an extraordinary way. From a beautiful person who coordinated for the first time the editorial work of an absolutely amazing corporate documentary, to another who managed operations in more than five geographies across three continents or another one who has never managed from a to z a conference content project and runs it in a brilliant way and with a fantastic mastery of the subject. Another person led a project for a new client for the first time, and it was the project that received the most positive feedback of the year. Another person incredibly led our beautiful newsroom with relevant stories everyday, another challenged us to launch the social impact area, and guess what, not only did we do it, but we are expanding it in 2023, with more and better intervention from everyone. Others played a more strategic role in the business development, and competence and companionship were always exemplary. These and all people of our teams were absolutely amazing and took their projects and fields further, and therefore all of us and WIN World, further.

We won some projects, lost others, but above all we learned a lot and lived with great joy along the way. And we learned at all times, with all the people on the team and everyone with whom we interacted. From Portugal to Brazil, the USA, Spain and Singapore, this was indeed a year of enormous challenge and individual and collective growth, and at the limit, for me, as the leader of the company, this is what I want most - for myself and everyone around me, and for everyone that WIN World manages to touch. I really like to promote and support virtuous cycles of braveness and togetherness.

But as I put in the beginning of the text, all this is only possible, if on the other side, we get the same vibe and drive. And we had it. Throughout the year we worked with unbelievable clients, with visions and ambitions that make a difference, setting the agenda for the future of the planet and humanity. Our clients are courageous and inspire teams and societies in a powerful way, believing that their existence is fuller if the purpose and impact they propose is economic but also social and environmental. And deeply, for real.

The stories that our clients are making are wonderful and they are theirs. We only help to put those stories on paper, in a film, a documentary, an event or in other innovative format or experience, and with that we help our clients to inspire and involve more people in their journeys, growing the impact and the change towards a better tomorrow.

The admiration we have for our clients and their stories is enormous and that’s what thrill us every single day. For us, any new project is our dream project. And no matter how small it is, we love it because it’s a space for dreaming and growing. It’s a space for braveness and togetherness.
