Brave New Optimists Edition 1.5

Hey powerhouse,

I spent the weekend in Bournemouth hanging out with one of my leadership teams. Amongst a flurry of beach walks and strategy chats, we had our obligatory would you rather* question time. It got me thinking about you and me, and what we’re doing here at the Brave New Optimists.?

So let me ask you, would you rather…?

• spread possibility or hoard it in case it runs out?
• intentionally absorb nourishing news or absently scroll the doom mongering?
• be a part of asking better questions or rest on the answers we’ve already got?

I imagine that, with all of the above, you’d rather try and do the former over the latter, still knowing that it will be hard and imperfect. This, my friend, is *showing up*. It’s something we can all do, in different ways with different energy levels and abilities and resources. We can show up and we can try.
