The Brannon Firm innovates, wins
Today, at the Brannon Firm, we won another case. On behalf of our client in a felony criminal matter, we employed a novel defense, which I am not aware of any other firm using before, let alone successfully.
Due to confidentiality--and because we may use variations on the concept again--I'll limit to saying that the theory employed a particularized application of self defense incorporating research and expert opinion from the state-of-the-art of psychology. This, along with successfully excluding an alleged confession at a suppression hearing, was determinative.
Many firms probably would not have conceived of the defense theory, and perhaps fewer would have tried to use it if they did. It is a credit to the firms' founders that they imagined, developed and brought it into reality. Today a client walked into court facing felony charges, and walked out free.
