Asda's face lift splits Media Village opinion??

Asda’s rebrand has well and truly left the Media Village designers torn.? The sleek and contemporary new look for this household name marks a significant departure from its previous branding, with not only the logo but the entire brand portfolio undergoing a transformation. Perhaps most notably, the iconic slogan "That's Asda price” has been replaced with the new tagline “Get the Asda price feeling.”

While one of our designers praised the rebrand for its simplicity and modernity, another expressed concern that the brand may have lost touch with its rich history and heritage.

Lidl brings back fan favourite with a twist

Guess who's back and cheesier than ever? Lidl's legendary Cheese Twist.? Making its grand return to stores nationwide this month. In true iconic style, Lidl is celebrating with a fun twist of its own. Drawing inspiration from a certain pop star's new 'Era', Lidl is rolling out the red carpet for its Cheese Twist with a hilarious merch giveaway – featuring a? limited-edition fan t-shirt, a twisties friendship bracelet and a free Lidl Plus Cheese Twist coupon.??

Their Ad is particularly special, replicating tour dates and even depicting a cheese twist dressed in iconic Taylor clothing. So, with the supermarket brand joining others in getting stuck into the Taylor Swift marketing hype, it’s safe to say the UK is poised and ready for Swift's arrival early next month. Are you?
