We often say "my team" or "my players." We create this sense of ownership and association with brands we love, follow, and relate to. It builds community, connection, and camaraderie.
Growing up in Texas, I am naturally a Cowboys fan. When I was 11 years old, my dad took me to Thousand Oaks, California, to watch a Cowboy’s practice, meet some of the players, and get autographs and photos. I remember meeting Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, and many more iconic players. That moment solidified my fandom for life.?
When it comes to branding, there are a lot of essential factors that go into creating a successful campaign.?But one of the most important is ensuring customers feel connected with the product. Although logos, colors, and slogans are elements to help create an identity that customers can relate to, it’s ultimately how your brand makes them feel that creates that ownership.
