Electrical Trainer/Assessor

We are delighted to be supporting a well established and growing Ofsted graded GOOD training provider to hire an Electrical Trainer/Assessor.

Our client offer quality training to anyone who wishes to improve their skills, qualifications and future career prospects. They are dedicated to service a range of industries and job roles, offering training and also employment opportunities. They consistently deliver exceptional quality apprenticeship and short course training across five dedicated centres in Bristol, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Redruth.

Main Purpose

In this role, you will Train/Lecture and Assess for the Electrical brand ensuring that the quality of provision is maintained to the highest standard. This position will be based in the Plymouth office. Teaching 4 days per week with one day prep.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To communicate effectively and professionally across all brands and centres
  • To provide support for all learners in compliance with our policies and procedures
  • Teach learners undertaking Electrotechnical Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Ensure that your knowledge is current to meet the technical and assessment requirements of the awarding organisations
  • To hold and work towards relevant qualifications as required
  • Ensure knowledge is up to date with current legislation and working practices within the trade
  • To motivate learners to ensure success
  • Negotiate Individual Learning Plans (ILP’s) with all learners based on individual needs.

Main Purpose

This is a fantastic role to work within the Greater Manchester area to build relationships with both participants and local businesses.

We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.

Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health and debt.

Responsibilities

  • Be able to build and maintain strong and positive relationships with Participants in the Greater Manchester area, which will enable you to use vocational profiling to help build a support and development plan.
  • Proactively and effectively work with the participants to prepare/progress them into employment- supporting them through their individual barriers to secure sustainable employment.
  • Confidently form connections with local businesses/services such as Local Authorities, Jobcentre Plus, National Probation service/CRC and a wide range of voluntary/community groups.
  • Utilising multiple systems and services such as Ingeus Hub to accurately input all participants data, Personal Support Team (PSTs) and Social Prescription Network.
  • Working from local hubs and “pop-up offices” within the community ( E.G housing, health and primary care centres) to increase participant activity and services accessibility.

Paralegal Apprenticeship Coach

Main Purpose

You are responsible for managing the coaching of a caseload of apprentices, ensuring that they develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to succeed in their roles and complete their apprenticeships as planned.

The role will provide a team of Vocational Tutors with day-to-day line management and support and will be responsible for the initial allocation and subsequent delivery of work streams as they arise.

The Programme Manager will oversee and manage the operational quality and compliance activities in collaboration with the Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement, and Head of Data, Funding and Compliance.

Main Purpose

The role will support the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessment in providing exceptional leadership and direction to enable the successful delivery of Apprenticeship programmes, Skills Bootcamps, and other funded/non- regulated training programmes to meet defined contractual and business objectives. This post will provide strong, performance driven management and operational support to enable the effective delivery of contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a designated group of Vocational Tutors in relation to caseload management and achievement against an agreed set of KPIs and quality measures in line with contractual targets. Supervise and support team members, ensuring that channels of communication within the company are maintained ensuring the fast flow of information
  • Monitor quality of provision from the perspective of the learner / employer and implement arrangements for continuous improvement.
  • Act in accordance with the Leadership principles.
  • Act as lead contact with the Head of Department and to ensure effective work stream management and delivery of training in accordance with the contractual targets and regulatory requirements.

Data and Compliance Administrator

We are delighted to be assisting a long standing client in recruiting a Data and Compliance Administrator for their office in Morley, West Yorkshire.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic with an extensive knowledge and understanding of the various Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) funding rules and their application in managing data and curriculum planning.

This should include full understanding and application of the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) specification requirements and analysis of funding data to support curriculum and financing plans.

You will be an integral part of the compliance team. You will be coordinating with other team members for undertaking all compliance and internal audit activities. You will be responsible for creating management reports and funding returns to our commissioners. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is dedicated to the education sector but who is looking for a new challenge. You will have extensive knowledge and understanding of the funding rules and methodology and be comfortable working with senior management to deliver improvements in process design and data quality.

Main Purpose

As a Data and Compliance Administrator, you’ll be responsible for auditing learner data and information, to ensure accuracy of data and compliance to funding policy rules and procedures. Also, ensuring auditing outputs are recorded to enable Management Information (MI) to be produced for feedback to the delivery teams and individuals on their competency and performance.
