See how our initial ideas rapidly developed into the final The Golf Gift Card #BrandDesign & for the physical ‘card’ itself.
The client emphasised that the brand ‘Must Shout Golf’ so it stands out from the other gift cards in supermarkets etc. The card will mainly be bought by non-golfers to give to golfers, so the imagery has to be obvious & clear. Simplicity is the key.
The card can be redeemed for ‘all things Golf’ so green fees, equipment, tuition etc
Any fonts, logos card images, colours have to translate well to e-vouchers, mobile vouchers, websites. The plastic card may sit in a card sleeve with further info and/or be a stand-alone device.
In our early ideas we created a few abbreviated (GGC) concepts and devised the strapline: ‘PLAY | GEAR | TUITION’ which sums up exactly what the card can be used for, which were received well by the client as well as fun golf imagery
At stage 2 we created, what turned out to be, the final design which we developed with different fonts & colourways.
Soon after the final brand & card image had been created & approved.
