Be The Brand

Looking back at my life, there has been one major underlying, multi-layered theme:   the intrinsic desire to become a forward-moving, forward-thinking, productive, positive, energy-creating, inspirational, motivational, resourceful asset. Once I was able to realize this "thing" about myself, I began to study the various "themes" of the people I worked with - past and present - to see if there was a common thread connecting all of the stories. What I began to realize, is that most people have a desire to make a difference with their unique contributions (our personal brand)  and most of us want to be part of something bigger than ourselves (our organizational brand).

This is where I began to ponder this concept from the "big picture" point-of-view, which helped me hone my personal brand and develop a platform for change: The Corporate Branding Equation (TM) as a self-professed Corporate Brandologist. Although this platform was created for my own need,  I also bring this to the table for my Vaughn & Melton family and to the myriad of clients we are blessed to serve.

It has taken me all of my 52 years to fully understand I am more than what you see...I am what I do.

I say all of this to ask a question to anyone reading this. What about you? Are you representing your brand with the whole of your heart? Are you representing your brand with the best of your your ability? Are you representing your brand to the utmost benefit for your organization, community and family?

If you want to make a difference, start by knowing how Your Brand affects everything you touch.
