Everyone is talking about content marketing as an important aspect of branding and growth, but do you know that not everyone knows how to do it well?

Content marketing is a vital part of any marketing strategy, as the right content can increase brand recognition, customer engagement, and revenue.

Content marketing involves the creation and sharing of media and publishing content to acquire and retain customers. It comprises all forms of digital media, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, podcasts, online videos, and mobile apps.

The more you use these platforms to share insights and knowledge that help the target audience the more you build thought leadership. Which, in turn, creates the attraction to the brand.

Imagine what will become of all that effort in the long run?

All one has to do is look at Gary Vaynerchuk and Elon Musk. You can see the engagement they get for themselves and their companies across multiple social platforms.

In the same vein, encouraging employees to make the most of social media platforms results in additional brand support to both, the employees personal brand and the company brand.

No marketing model can beat that which your employees exude.

Why?

Because they are the brand itself! They walk, talk and live the brand.

They are the ones that?humanizes?the brand! When they go to their favourite platforms to talk about the brand, the work culture and share their story, it creates an appeal for their audience that the brand is who they want to do business with.

Such marketing isn’t paid for. It's bred from within. And that's the brilliance of content marketing. It's all in how valuable it is seen across the company and not just by the marketing department.

It’s not a?task that is designated to just one department. Your head of recruiting can use it to attract the right talent. Your communication people can use it to communicate to investors, and prospective clients and your head of training can educate current employees.

At the end of the day, investing in content marketing is an all-round win for the brand.
