The Brain’s Sweet Spot

The Brain’s Sweet Spot

One of the most interesting facts we have found in brain research is that the human brain is hard-wired to function well under short cycles of “peak” and “low” levels of neurotransmitters and hormones, such as dopamine, endorphins, noradrenaline, adrenaline, cortisol and others. The more we incorporate in our life and/or in organizational culture activities that support these short cycles to occur the most chances we got to adapt, accept changes and become more resilient.

It is what I called the brain’s sweet spot for optimal functioning, peak performance and wellbeing. We all can learn to maximise the brain sweet spot by adopting brain friendly practises and activities in our daily life.

On the 27th January 2021, Tibisay Vera, The Director of the International Academy of Neuroscience and Education, will be running a short online certification programme for consultants, coaches and change managers in Pillars of Neuroscience and its practical applications to an intimate group of 12 senior consultants, coaches and leaders.
