Brain coach education options for 2020

Brain coach education options for 2020

It's a wrap!

Last week I hosted our last live Q&A of 2019 for students of The Neuroscience Academy. As always, its been a humbling and stimulating experience teaching those working in the helping professions to more confidently use neuroscience to better help their clients.

What an incredible bunch of intelligent, passionate and motivated people!

This session we celebrated a huge milestone for the Academy we enrolled student #1000!

We’ve continued to welcome professionals from all over the world including far-flung places such as Egypt, Georgia, New Zealand and Argentina. And I worked with a diversity of professionals including ballet teachers, speaking coaches, college professors, clinical psychologists and therapists working with brain-injured patients.

Over the last three months, we’ve delved into some fascinating topics, including neuroplasticity, the gut-brain connection, mindfulness, ageing, emotion, attention, motivation, habit formation, creativity, intuition and resilience.

Knowing how to explain to their clients how the brain works and how the potential for change is a powerful tool, whatever their goals may be.

As Maya Angelou was quoted as saying, “When you know better, you can do better.”

If you would like to up-skill in 2020, please pre-register here for the next round of The Neuroscience Academy that will be kicking off in March 2020.

Note, I will be teaching the 12-week program only once next year as I prepare to go on an expedition to Antarctica with other women in STEM later in 2020.

As an exciting alternative, I'm offering a two-week 'Brain Coach Bootcamp'.

This intensive program will roll out with the same curriculum, professional development certification and lifetime membership options as the 12-week course, but will be delivered in a concentrated timeframe — ideal for time-strapped people who are willing to commit to their applied neuroscience and brain health education. I expect to deliver the Brain Coach Bootcamp in July 2020, but this date is TBC. In the meantime, leave your email here so I can keep you up to date on enrolment options.

I look forward to working with you in 2020.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Neuroscience Academy.? If you work in a school it will help you to better understand why students (and your colleagues!) behave the way they do and how you might be able to challenge entrenched behaviours and support them to thrive.? ? ?
