BRAFA 2022
After an absence of eighteen months, the gallery is excited to participate in the BRAFA art fair 2022. Cortesi Gallery will display a large selection of post-war artists for this important fair in Brussels.
For this edition, we focused mainly on the Zero Movement and the related international art waves of the 1960s. The gallery will present fantastic paintings by Heinz Mack, Grazia Varisco and herman de vries with the ever-present Walter Leblanc, Belgian artist and founder of the G58 group, whose artistic work focuses on the theme of torsion.

Also, in connection with Group Zero, the gallery will present major artworks by Agostino Bonalumi, Enrico Castellani, Paolo Scheggi and Turi Simeti, masters of Italian object painting.

Two sponge sculptures by the French artist Yves Klein will also be displayed. He created the well-known International Klein Blue, a shade of ultramarine blue that characterised many of his works during his career.
Linked to ZERO and avant-gardes from the 1960s, there will be one of the masters of Italian sculpture, Arnaldo Pomodoro, with two beautiful sculptures defined by perfect geometric volumes.
