The Tipping Point in Recruitment
In his book, The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell introduces the idea that small changes at the right moment can trigger massive effects. He says that tiny, seemingly insignificant decisions often trigger a domino effect, tipping situations from average to extraordinary.
In recruitment, your tipping point can be building relationships with key people. One introduction, one recommendation, or one successful placement can set off a chain reaction that accelerates your business growth.
But it all boils down to recognizing these moments and being ready to act. Doing so can help you create your own tipping point where it only takes a few well-placed efforts to create a ripple effect and push your business from ordinary to extraordinary.?
I appreciate your presence.

The perfect pairing for a winning collaboration
This month, we couldn’t resist spotlighting one of our senior VAs for an outstanding performance that truly won the client over. The client appreciated interactive discussions more than just technical reports or routine tasks.?
So, we paired our client with one of our top VAs, who understood the client's feedback-focused style and used a mix of technical expertise and interactive communication.
This glowing feedback best sums the rest:
"I so appreciate your communication. You're a great communicator. I love your end-of-day reporting. I love. I love it. Fantastic."

We don’t just talk about matching you with the perfect VA - we make it happen.?

The Rise of Skills-Based Hiring in 2025
The end of Q4 is showing a clear inclination toward skills-based hiring. In 2025 employers will be placing more value on what candidates can do rather than what their resumes say. Degrees and titles no longer hold the weight they used to. The focus is shifting toward whether candidates can implement those skills in the real world.
So, how can you prepare for this hiring revolution in 2025?
Focus on Micro-Experience
Instead of looking for long job titles, focus on candidates' smaller, specific experiences.?
These micro-skills often speak louder than degrees.
Design Skill-Based Assessments
Put candidates to the test. Create quick, real-world challenges that mimic the job they'll be doing. This will give you an idea of what they can accomplish hands-on.
Update Your ATS Filters
Don’t just rely on educational backgrounds and job titles in your filters. Instead, build searches around critical skills, certifications, or software proficiencies important for the role.
Spot Growth Mindsets
Look for candidates who are constantly learning and evolving. People who are self-taught, taking online courses, or upskilling on the side will often outperform those who rely on past qualifications alone.
Use Social Proof
Candidates’ social platforms, online portfolios, or LinkedIn endorsements can reveal a lot about their skills and personalities. Utilize these as proof of a candidate’s abilities beyond the traditional resume.
As skills-based hiring continues to rise, recruiters who embrace this shift will have a head start finding top talent.?

Last month, our team took a much-needed four-day trip to the northern areas. It was nothing short of amazing and we enjoyed every bit of adventure the trip offered.
It was a break from the usual work grind and we used the chance to recharge and get to know each other outside of the office. Even our CEO joined in on the fun, and seeing his personal side gave us a whole new perspective on the man behind the company.
The trip left us feeling refreshed, re-energized, and more connected as a team.?
A little adventure goes a long way!
That’s a wrap for this month. Stay connected for more insights in your inbox.
Until next time!
We, at Logix BPO, have been following the shift towards skill-based hiring and we agree that it's a promising trend.
