BPF Futures: Your latest news and events

The latest news and events from BPF Futures.

Since the beginning of the year, we’ve hosted eight fantastic events, including our first-ever in Manchester! Looking ahead, we've got a line-up of events that I'm really excited about over the next few months. We'll be diving into some important topics like the decarbonisation of the built environment, sustainability, and the future of private accommodation. Plus, we've got collaborations with Transport for London and our Fourth?Policy Congress in the works.?

BPF Futures will also be attending UKREiiF! Whether you're planning to attend or are local to Leeds, we're organising some great events open to all Futures members and their colleagues. Stay tuned!

Best wishes,

Izzy

What’s next for Manchester

Last week, Avison Young kindly hosted a Futures networking event in Manchester themed ‘What’s next for Manchester’.

We kicked off the evening with an?introduction from Barry Crichton (Regional Managing Director, Manchester at Avison Young). Barry set the tone for the evening referencing MIPIM and the excitement around investment opportunities the city has to offer. We then had insight from the Strategic Director Growth & Development at Manchester City Council , Becca Heron, who delivered news on the future development plans scheduled in the coming years in the region. Wrapping up presentations for the evening was Jessica Bowles , Director of Strategy at Bruntwood ; Jessica informed us on the history of Bruntwood as well as their future plans and focus.

We had a fantastic turn out, which led to great conversations and an excitement for what is coming next for Manchester.
