The Boys and Girls Club of Placer County needs our help!!!

The Boys and Girls Club of Placer County has been a cornerstone of our community since opening its doors in 1994. The Boys and Girls Club continues to serve hundreds of our youth daily by providing critical services through a wide range of programs in such areas as education, character development, career exploration, sports & recreation, the arts, and community service; all the while providing a safe, structured, and positive environment for our youth after school, during holidays, and summer vacation.

This time of year the Boys and Girls Club of Placer County usually participates in a large toy drive sponsored by Thunder Valley Casino and several local motorcycle clubs to help less fortunate families have a great Christmas. Unfortunately, due to the Pandemic, the annual toy drive has been canceled and many kids may go without Christmas presents this year.

Big Green IT is looking to partner with our business community to reach our goal of helping 100 of these kids by providing them Christmas gifts. We are looking for donations of unwrapped toys (at a value of $25.00) that promote the STEM education curriculum, such as but not limited to Legos, art kits, bead kits, and robotics kits. We will be collecting these toys until December 18th and delivering them on December 19th. You can order the toys from Amazon or your preferred retailer and have them delivered to our office (5701 Lonetree Blvd, Suite 118 Rocklin, CA 95765). Please email Megan Bell ([email protected]) what you have donated and its approximate arrival time so she can look out for it.
