Boycott Chinese Products
We could see this trend of boycotting Chinese products even before but now it has reached a peak after there was a clash between Indian and Chinese troops at the border. Most of the people have come up with boycotting Chinese products. Do you think to boycott Chinese products works? Are Indian manufacturers ready to replace Chinese manufactures?
Chinese have the upper hand when it comes to #manufacturing and product cost. On the other hand, Indians has good knowledge on manufacturing technology but the reason behind their failure to compete with Chinese manufactures is the 'Product Cost'. Most of the Indian manufacturers (not all ) always think of having a large margin profit and want to become rich overnight. This greed is keeping them away from competing with Chinese manufactures
During such tuff times, when boycott Chinese products are on-trend, 'Greedy & selfish' Indian manufacturers ( not all) take advantage of boycotting Chinese products.
I will just give u an example.
3yrs back, when mobile holder for the bike was a new product in the market. In Amazon and Flipkart the price was 1200 INR, I wanted to create my own design and get manufactured. I contacted a guy from Indiamart.com who was from Mumbai. He said he will charge 500 INR 'excluding' transportation provided if I order for 500 pieces.
I later contacted a Chinese manufacturer from Alibaba.com. He said he will charge 199 INR for the same product along with my company logo and it's 'including' the transportation charges.
A Manufacturer from Mumbai is charging 3 times more than a guy who is sending me the product from Shenzhen, China.
Indian manufacturers like these will just loot money from Indian citizens in the name of 'Nationalism',' Patriotism', 'Make in India', and 'boycott Chinese products'. It will be a kind monopoly. They use this opportunity to encash themselves rather than to deliver better, affordable and reliable products to fellow Indian citizens
Some may claim that Chinese products may not be good enough and that may be the reason behind the low product cost. It's true in some cases and wrong in some. India's leading mobile selling brands like MI, Oppo, Vivo are from china. These Chinese mobiles have better Camera quality, battery backup, display size, and new tech features than those manufactured by Indian companies ( Micromax, Karbon, lava , Xolo, etc ). Also, these mobiles come with affordable price. Why Indian mobile manufactures cant manufacture good mobiles like MI, OPPO with the similar display, battery backup, and features and sell them with similar prices?
Indian manufacturers (not all) r greedy, selfish, and want to be rich overnight and that's the reason they fail. Unless Indian manufacturers keep less margin profit they can't win over this trend of boycotting Chinese products.
Don't get me wrong, I am not pro #china or anti #India, it's just my thoughts.
Jai Hind !
