As Bowens enters a new financial year, we recognise that the last few years for Australian builders has been particularly challenging. The demand on supply, labour and the entire industry is unprecedented. All markets are pushing to keep up as Australians build new communities in growing suburbs, calling for localised servicing for builders.

Bowens expanding store network ensures builders across Australia are met with reliable, high quality building materials when they need them. Keeping up with that demand remains the priority of our business. We strive to be the best at the basics. This means delivering quality building materials on-time and in-full to every builder in Australia – big and small.

This is why we prioritised increasing and improving our store network in 2022 and have reinvested back into the business to ensure top-quality service to more communities such as Warragul and Drouin in Victoria’s South-East, one of the states fastest growing regions predicted to see an increase in population from 54,000 to 100,000 residents by 2035. Warragul is the perfect location for Bowens newest store, set to open late August 2022. The new site, located at 9 June Court, is a testament to Bowens' commitment to growth and the building industry.

Heading up the Warragul expansion will be Dean Armstrong. Having been with Bowens for over 19 years, Dean has been an integral member of Bowens development in the South-East having previously managed our Phillip Island and Pakenham stores. A local resident himself, Dean is the perfect person to lead Bowens Warragul, ensuring all builders and the community is well supported for years to come.
