Bourbon Month: Join A Club!

I helped grow a bourbon club from 12 members to nearly two hundred. We provided a bottle every 60 days, a monthly group tasting and various samples through out the year.

Meetings were educational and included guest speakers from distilleries and distributors.

It was a blast. I HIGHLY recommend joining a bourbon club near you.

Here are some recommended specifications that make a great club experience.

1. Approachable membership fee, casual atmosphere - the cost of a good bottle
2. NOT a hunt or bottle trade club - please, no
3. Sponsored and hosted by a Bar - inside line to industry news and local access

These are just suggestions. In the realm of 'remote', getting into the global, whiskey groove is easy, so don't ignore online relationships.
