**BOUNDARIES** My relationship with this word has changed over the years. At first, I looked at boundaries as being a negative thing. I thought of them as walls that I would put up to block people out. Over the years and a lot of work redefining what this word means to me, I started to realize that Boundaries are super important to creating healthy relationships of all kinds: with friends, with loved ones, with colleagues, and with strangers.
Being clear on what your boundaries are, communicating them to others, and upholding them is an act of SELF LOVE. By maintaining your boundaries you are proclaiming your self worth and teaching others how you deserve to be treated.
In our current situation, it is more important than ever to be clear and maintain our boundaries. For many of us, we are now working from home full time along with family members, friends, and partners. Many workplaces are not used to remote employees and therefore, their expectations may be shifting. Make sure that YOU are clear on what YOUR expectations are with yourself so that you are able to share that with others.
Here are some questions to get you started in trying to clarify your boundaries:
*What do you need to be your most productive self?
*What are some things that distract you?
*What are your work hours vs. personal time?
*When will you take breaks throughout the day?
*What at-home activities help to recharge you?

4 年Love this! Another question I love is "What do you need to say NO to so you can say YES to something that is meaningful to you?"
