Boston Solar Celebrates National Intern Day 2021
It’s National Intern Day—and this summer we are so happy to host?two?superstar interns,?both of them?are rocking it on the Design & Engineering team. We’d like to give a huge shout-out to Ashley Lemus and Elissa Pierce, who?joined us this Summer?through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Let's learn more about the young women applying their science and engineering knowledge with a passion for renewable energy. Here’s a quick scoop about them:?
Elissa Pierce is a new graduate with a degree in Environmental Science from Northeastern University.?
Elissa is helping us with various projects, from design to customer communication, project coordination, and soon procurement as well. We appreciate her ability to learn independently,?juggle?many different tasks and perform them with a high level of quality. She is an all-star in the making.

Ashley?Lemus is a rising senior pursuing her degree in Electrical Engineering from UMass Boston.?
Ashley is?helping out?with our very busy residential design team. She is outgoing and able to work with various team members to get tasks squared away. We appreciate her attention to details.?And, what’s more,?she is great at ensuring that any request that comes her way is fully addressed with a high level of quality. She does?all of?her work?with such a great attitude and passion for learning new things about the renewable field.?
