Boss Is Always Right
Bosses are empowered to take decisions and the support staff has to obey the decisions and not question if the boss is right or not.
If the boss gives an option and seeks opinion from staff, then one can share their view points but decisions must never be questioned unless they are unethical. In such case, staff can ask the boss to give the instruction in writing so that staff interests are protected.
Bosses take into account the larger picture while deciding and may not have time to keep explaining to everyone. So, it is assumed “boss is always right†and if not, they are responsible to bear the consequences as well.
Your boss writes your evaluation and determines whether you keep your job or not.
Thus, your goal is to keep your boss happy, which may mean that the boss gets to always be ‘right’ as that is the person you are to please regardless if the boss is right or wrong as the boss is responsible for every employees actions.
That is sometimes said but I think a better version is "This boss is not always right, but he is always the boss."
You are paid to do what your boss tells you. You can make suggestions but as long as your boss's instructions are covered by your contract, you should get on with it. You can make suggestions but he/she doesn't have to accept them.
Yes. It is true because he knows that you are too intelligent or smart or whatever
You will be a boss someday and an employee under you might be smarter so what?
Rule-1
The Boss is always right.
Rule-2
If the Boss is wrong, see rule 1.
Rule-3
Those who work get more work.
Others get pay, perks, and promotions.

The more hardworking a person,
The more committed a person;
The more number of persons are engaged in pulling that person down.
Rule-5
If you are good, you will get all the work.
If you are really good, you will get out of it.
Rule-6
When the Bosses talk about improving productivity,
They are never talking about themselves.
Rule-7
It doesn't matter what you do,
It only matters what you say you've done and what you are going to do.
Rule-8
A pat on the back is only a few centimeters from a kick in the butt.
Rule-9
Don't be irreplaceable.
If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
Rule-10
The more crap you put up with,
The more crap you are going to get.
Rule-11
If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then quit.
No use being a damn fool about it.
Rule-12
When you don't know what to do,
Walk fast and look worried.
Rule-13
Following the rules will not get the job done.
Rule-14
If it weren't for the last minute,
Nothing would get done.
Rule-15
Everything can be filed under "Miscellaneous".
Rule-16
No matter how much you do,
You never do enough.
Rule-17
You can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work
you are supposed to be doing.
Rule-18
In order to get a promotion, you need not necessarily know your job.
Rule-19
In order to get a promotion, you only need to pretend that you know your job.

Thank you …THE BOSS’S BASIC RULES
Rule 1: The Boss is always right!
Rule 2: In the impossible hypothesis that a subordinate may be right, becomes immediately operative.
Rule 3: The boss does not sleep; he rests.
Rule 4: The Boss is never late; he is delayed elsewhere.
Rule 5: The Boss never leaves his work; his attention is required elsewhere.
Rule 6: The Boss never reads the paper in his office; he studies.
Rule 7: The Boss is always chief, even in his bathing togs.
Rule 8: Whosoever may enter the boss's office with an idea of his own must leave the office with the boss's ideas.
Rule 9: If, in your lamentable ignorance, you fail to grasp the truth, fear not; return to rule 1.
Want to add word or two?
Best things to say if you get caught sleeping at your desk
"They told me at the blood bank this might happen."
"This is just a 15 minute power nap like they raved about in that time management course you sent me to."
"Whew! Guess I left the top off the white out. You probably got here just in time."
"I wasn't sleeping, I was meditating on the mission statement and envisioning a new paradigm."
"I was testing my keyboard for drool resistance."
"I was doing a highly specific Yoga exercise to relieve work-related stress.
“Do you discriminate against people who practice Yoga?"
"Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out a solution to our biggest problem."
"The coffee machine is broken."

Employee Placement Method
Does your organization struggle with the problem of properly fitting people to jobs?
Take the prospective employees you are trying to place and put them in a room with only a table and two chairs.
Leave them alone for two hours, without any instruction.
At the end of that time, go back and see what they are doing.
If they have taken the table apart in that time, put them in Engineering.
If they are counting the butts in the ashtray, assign them to Finance.
If they are screaming and waving their arms, send them off to Manufacturing.
If they are talking to the chairs, Personnel is a good spot for them.
If they are writing up the experience, send them to Tech Pubs.
If they don't even look up when you enter the room, assign them to Security.
If they try to tell you it's not as bad as it looks, send them to Marketing.
If they've left early, put them in Sales.
And if they're all bullying each other, they're Management material.
- A good boss in a mediocre company will protect you and support you.
- A bad boss in a good company will frustrate and demoralize you.
- A good boss in a good company will unlock your potential.
Traits of a good boss: drives retention, delegate’s authority, trustworthy, is a servant/transformational leader, interested in doing what’s right, consistent in decision-making, and is empathetic.
Traits of a bad boss: drives turnover, micromanages others and processes, instills fear, authoritarian leader, interested in being right, inconsistent in decision-making, and is cold/self-focused.
So, how do you find a good boss?
First and foremost, understand yourself.
Have you established your personal intention?
If so, what is your ambition statement (what you need to achieve in the next 3 – 5 years)?
By determining a clear path for what you want to achieve, you can conduct a gap analysis of your skills and better determine how a particular boss can coach and mentor you to your goals.
Secondly, picking a tremendous boss demands that you have a strong network.
By cultivating relationships with professionals in your field, you can share notes on the bosses you’ve worked for or heard about.
