This part has a focus on the Youth & Transitioning Military personnel. Also to motivate thousands of Military Veterans to leverage their rich experience & rare skills to help build a new India.
- 30 June 2004 ... Premature retirement from the Indian Air Force.
- 01 July 2004 ... A new journey begins in the classroom of One year full time MBA from IMI,Delhi.
- MBA in International business with a 15 days training in AIT, Bangkok.
- Set up IILM,Gurgaon as Head Admin in 2005.
- Short stint in Finance department of Commonwealth games at Delhi in 2010.
- Malls Management for a year.
- Gated communities like The World Spa & others for two years.
- AGM in a 150 Acres green township.
- National Account Director in Sodexo FM services India for Tata Tele Pan India with six locations.
- Waste management for two years. We installed an organic composting machine with a capacity of 500 Kgs in Gurgaon One , a premier gated community neat the Maruti factory.
- At age 60 in 2021 head hunted by Kirloskars to transform their 100 years old township called Kirloskarvadi near Kolhapur in Sangli district.
- Built roads, Made a plants nursery , motivated children of the township to form a Green Warriors group. Transformed the way Township was managed by living an example of Servant Leadership.
One year in Maharashtra made me realise that the canvas to transform India is huge.
I chose to transform & add value to the marginal farmers in India. We started serious farming & fruit plantations last year only.
What we have achieved till now ...
- Learnt multi cropping, fruits & floriculture. Identified markets for high value processed food.
- Set up a food forest with Bamboos, Bees, Birds, Flowers, Fruits, medicinal plants & Herbs. An earthern Chulah is available at the Commanders Organic farm for cooking on the wood fire.
- Experimented with natural fertilisers & Pest control.
- Planted natural nitrogen fixers like legumes & Drum sticks.
- Will plant in March Banana as wind breakers, Karondas as hedges & Cucumbers as well as all kinds of melons.
- Damascus roses will be processed into delicious Gulkand & rose drinks where as Organic mustard oil will be sold in Gurgaon market .
- Aspire to be an aggregator for marketing the farmers produce in Mewat & increase the incomes of more than 100 farmers in this year.
- We have also started helping the passionate urban farmers in buying suitable land & converting it into Food forests & Organic farms.
The story continues & I must say that farming is addictive as I am generally in the farm during the day time as well as in my dreams.
