Bootcamp, Consulting and Speaking Updates

For six years I never had any interest in teaming with other professionals to put on a boot camp for Job Seekers and Entrepreneurs. Even during the early days when I was winning awards and speaking to thousands of job seekers every week, the idea just never interested me.

Working for Amazon I helped facilitate booth's for job fair's but that is the closest I ever came.

It was only upon meeting Jennifer Sethre and having multiple conversations, building a friendship on trust, empathy and mutual respect did I start to come around.

Then I saw Gina Riley Lynne Williams, Ed.D. Candidate and Lyndsay Dowd were participating and I got excited. Soon after I got to meet Lisa Hammett, CPQC and Anna Lang and quickly realized that Jennifer was bringing together some of the top experts in North America.

I watched as Jennifer worked endlessly to design a curriculum and outline with incredible intentionality and purpose.

When money is tight and people have endless options, her dedication isn't optional, it is required.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that knows me that I find speaking cathartic.Being on stage, sharing wisdom and making a difference in the lives of others.

For a long time during my job search I lost my confidence in speaking because I forgot my own value, but when I finally got back in front of people I found such joy that I desperately needed.

That's why I plan to show up and be present way more often. This month I am doing the bootcamp and an event for entrepreneurs and next month I will be speaking at Katherine McCord Neurodiversity event running a workshop about being a neurodiverse parent to a neurodiverse child. This is something that scared me and I want others to know that fear is normal, but being neurodiverse has ways of making you show up as your best self when you least expect it.

Job Search Update

I am still looking for a full time role. Specifically in people operations.

With experience in Recruitment, Talent Management, Training, L&D and Program Management I am a leader in the field. Any organization that hires me is getting a dedicated, strategic inclusive culture add whose results can be seen both in data and reputation.

Roles I am looking for Include Sr. Manager People Operations, Sr People Business Partner, VP of People & Culture etc.
