At Scriptoria Solutions, we're all about helping researchers boost the impact of their work. That’s why Megan Mayzelle and Katiana Bougouma, MPH, CHE traveled to Kenya for an intensive 4-day writeshop with the Tropical Forages team, a group of scientists with a shared passion for sustainable animal production systems and climate resiliency.?
Through the writeshop, we helped the team pick the best journals to publish their work, create a plan for getting their research out into the world, and ensure their findings were compelling for their target audience. We also showed them practical writing methods to make the drafting and revision process less time-consuming and helped them advance as a team.?
By the end of the writeshop, the Tropical Forages Kenya team had at least 10 advancing drafts, several new outlines, and a month-by-month plan for each team member to finish their publications.?
