Boost your productivity

Boost your productivity

As an Executive, Business Owner, or Entrepreneur, maintaining a high level of productivity is crucial to the success of your company and your career.

While there are many factors that can impact your ability to stay focused and productive, these are three key areas that are consistently overlooked.

Restorative Sleep.

Quality deep sleep is essential for maintaining high levels of productivity. When you don't get enough sleep, concentration levels drop, mistakes are made, mood is low, and performance drops.

On the other hand, getting 7.5-9 hours of quality sleep can help to improve cognitive function, increase your energy levels, and boost your overall mood, all of which can contribute to higher levels of productivity.

Note**

Quantity is important, but the quality is overlooked.

How are you feeling when you wake up? If it's not great, it should be addressed.

Put it this way...If you put your phone on charge at night and woke up to see that it was only at 60%, you would probably bring it to the shop to get fixed.. ??

Below is a perfect example of my sleep scores after a late-night meal (including two G and Ts) almost 9 hours in bed, and not a wink of deep sleep. What followed was a day of lower productivity, poor mood, and low energy.

Note the hours in bed, and the hours of deep sleep obtained.

Strength training.

An important component of any exercise routine, as it helps to build and maintain muscle mass, which is important for overall health and well-being. However, strength training can also have a direct impact on your productivity levels.

Studies have shown that strength training can improve cognitive function, including memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. It can also help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms, which can all contribute to a decline in productivity. By incorporating strength training into your weekly routine, you can improve your mental clarity and focus, which will lead to more productive working hours.

Body composition.

Maintaining a healthy body composition is an important factor when it comes to boosting productivity.

Studies have shown that excess body fat can lead to a number of health issues, including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, which will all negatively impact your energy and cognitive function. By maintaining healthy body composition, you can improve your physical and mental well-being, in turn, improve your productivity levels.

This can be achieved through a combination of tailored exercise, a healthy diet, and optimal sleep.
