I have always been fascinated by Leadership and the soft skills to master so you can keep motivating yourself and inspiring everyone around you. Having led large teams throughout my career, I quickly understood that I needed to focus on my skills rather than expect everything to run my way just because I said so.?
While technical expertise and knowledge are essential in leadership, soft skills are equally vital. In fact, soft skills often make the critical difference between a good leader and a great one. The ability to communicate effectively, understand and manage emotions, adapt to change, make wise decisions and build strong teams can transform any business for the better.
As far as I am concerned, leaders who invest time and effort in learning about their Soft Skills are able to inspire, navigate challenges and ultimately achieve their goals.? Soft Skills of Leadership are not just “nice to have”, they are the foundation of effective and enduring leadership which will grow your business like never before.?
There are many soft skills that I tend to focus on when working with my members, and for those who follow us, you know we will talk again and again about these. These are the keys to an effective working relationship and environment.?
However, these soft skills, although more subtle are the ones that will allow you to keep your mindset strong and focused as well as let you overcome any challenges you are facing:
It’s all well and good to mention these soft skills but unless you are taking the time to really focus on yourself and your development, it can become a daily battle where frustration, guilt or even anger can overtake what you are trying to build.?
That's why I wanted to write about Leadership and all of its subtleties that surround it, I wish I could give you a formula: “This is how you Lead”, but what makes you unique and different, is your ability to learn and apply your skills, your experience is yours and no one can take that away from you, and setting time aside for yourself to become curious as to what you can improve & perfect next, becomes the best gift you can give yourself.
I can handle many projects at once because of my time management skills, but it doesn’t mean I never feel overwhelmed or never have to revisit my systems. I am hoping my new book will give you some tools to do that.?
In the words of the wise Pinterest world while researching for a quote: “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching”.?
Love and Light,
