Coaching as an industry has seen exponential growth over the last decade, largely thanks to the rise of the internet, which has made it easier than ever to connect with people and offer them life-changing advice and instructions. This growth shows no signs of slowing down, with the business coaching sector projected to hit $6.2 billion in revenue by 2024 and the health coaching sector expected to increase by nearly $1.7 billion. In 2002 when I entered the coaching industry most of my prospects and client had no idea what coaching was. Now most everyone is at least familiar with coaching.

Managing all these tasks alone requires a significant commitment of your time and energy. And let’s face it, you didn’t start your own business to end up working 60-80 hours a week, sacrificing time with family, friends, and hobbies.
The Benefits of Staying Small
There is something to be said about maintaining a $10-$20k per month business and working on it solo. You don’t have to manage anyone, and it allows for a more relaxed and balanced lifestyle. This can be an appealing option if you value flexibility and personal time over aggressive business growth.

4 个月Thanks for this and for me, I chose coaching because I no longer wanted the "work" of corporate or business ownership. SO much of what you share is spot on. AND the reason I am a coach, is my biggest customer is me, and I have gotten responsible for my life and the relationships that matter most for me. That is what coaching affords me, so that is worth way more than anything else. Thank you for this excellent post.
Awesome work, keep it up!
