Boomi debuts 'Answers on Demand' free solution to support non-profits, small businesses

LinkedIn is replete with executives expressing how proud they are of their employees, but today, expressing my pride does not adequately describe my emotions. This morning Boomi launched ‘Answers On Demand,’ an FAQ bot. 

The idea came about as I asked our employees to make suggestions for how we could help support non-profit organizations and small businesses within our communities during these unprecedented times. I was blown away, when in just 24 hours, we received more than 100 ideas. The idea that rose to the top was a free Question and Answer ‘bot’ which can sit on an organization’s website and handle the huge influx of questions they are currently fielding.

In a matter of days, ‘Answers on Demand’ was built by Boomi professionals. The bot can answer things like ‘what are your new opening hours?’ or ‘how can I volunteer to help?’ These questions can now be answered automatically, leaving the organization free to focus on how they can best serve their constituents.

To provide further support to our communities, our team members at Boomi and the broader Dell Technologies family will be virtually volunteering to help non-profits and small businesses by setting up their initial FAQ bots for them, freeing up their time to focus on how they best support their customers and communities at this time. We look forward to supporting non-profits, healthcare organizations, schools, small businesses, and many others to create seamless and timely FAQ portals and automated responses via our Answers on Demand platform.

The site includes information regarding the platform, how to set it up, and its own FAQ Portal and Chat bot to help organizations navigate setup and integration. This is a great example of what Boomi has named its “Boomi For Good” initiative--creating innovative solutions to address how technology can be used to transform lives. I am beyond proud.
