I like the saying "don’t judge a book by its movie."
It’s ridiculous, yet it highlights that many of us make this mistake.
I’m not trying to say that books break movies over the knee just like that, no. I totally understand the vocal part that would rather watch something in the cinema. Heck, it’s not even appropriate to compare the two, because as Stephen King once said, they are like apples and oranges.
While I enjoy both, I consider myself a book guy, and you’ll find out why by the end of this post.
But let me play the role of the movie’s advocate for a moment:
A movie is easier to digest, it’s faster to digest, and it’s more fun for some people.
If I had to put it down to one thing, movies help viewers to complete their immersion and experience the story in more than one way. People who prefer movies have shorter attention spans (no offense guys. But if you’re already here, I guess you are a book guy after all), they need more flashy colors.
They want to hear, see and feel the experience.
Movies make it easier for people…
And that 'easy' part makes guys choosing movies over books more vulnerable to malicious Internet users.
The 'easy way' that evokes more emotional stimulation is the right path down the social engineering alley. If you don’t believe me - ask me.
Because I wrote a book that lets every one of you be a part of the movie I found myself in for the past year. I wrote a book about cybersecurity that allows the reader to dive into the new, uncharted world. If you yawn during it ten times, I’ll consider to buy you a ticket to some high-octane action movie. No promises, though...
The good thing about writing books - you don’t have to spend millions to draw a powerful story. And the budget for imagination is truly unlimited… More information about the book is coming your way sooner than later.

5 年i am a movie gal...but i know no books should be judged by the movie. Though Movies do a great job in summarizing the book..but they definitely cannot replace the charm of unearthing the content line by line as the book does. i am looking forward to reading more in detail. thanks for sharing your book with me.
