The story line in this trilogy is a blueprint for a compelling movie.

I.e. Young couple get married on Catalina Island and then get stranded on the nearby island of San Clemente, owned by the US Navy. There, the groom discovers what he believes is illegal hunting of imported (and endangered) jaguars by Navy brass and some politicians.
