Bookmark these Important Links for your PMP exam

Are you planning to go for the PMP exam? Here is a consolidated list of all important links which will help you navigate the PMP Certification.

1. PMI Website

This website is a key website by Project Management Institute (PMI) which will help you get registered in PMI, even raise applications for PMP or any PMI certification.

2. PMI Registration:

If you are new to PMI then you will create an account. You can use this link to create an account. All you need is your email for successful registration. It will ask a series of questions and within a few minutes, you should be able to register yourself.

3. PMI LOChoice Portal

This is a Logistics & operations portal by PMI. This is a newly introduced portal by PMI which will help students (and trainers) to download resources like authorized exam Prep Guide and keep all content updated. You might need a license key to get to the course content which is generally provided by the training institute.

This website uses the same username & password as that of PMI.org.

4. ECO (Exam Content Outline)

Latest PMP exam is based on domains, (i.e. People, Process, Business Context). Each Domain has multiple Tasks which is the project manager's responsibility. Under task there would be enablers which like examples or illustrations within the task. These are available in Exam Content Outline. This is for your reference. Current PMP exam prep guide covers all of the domains and tasks.

5. PMBOK 7

From initially, PMBOK i.e. Project Management Body of Knowledge which serves as the foundation for the vast body of knowledge in the field. Latest version of PMBOK is 7. For exam preparation you will need to refer to PMBOK as well.

6. Agile Practice Guide:

For those who are new to scrum/agile. You will need to refer to a book which describes Agile Manifesto, Agile Ceremonies and Ways of Working and all details about Scrum. A Soft copy of this book is available complimentary for PMI members.

7. Test Center Lists:

After 2020, PMI allows participants to take exams from home; however, I always recommend going to the test center (Wonder why? check my another article: https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/pmp-exam-5-key-things-keep-mind-before-scheduling-mandar/).

This is conducted by Pearson VUE. It has test centers across the globe. You can always look for a test center and schedule an exam.
