Overview of role

With offices based in leafy Parsons Green London, we currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance Team at MMGY GRIFCO, an agency at the forefront of the luxury travel PR space. Grifco is part of a larger group that has grown quickly in recent years and therefore offers plenty of scope for future development. Our new bookkeeper will provide the day to day financial functions and office management required within the Grifco PR brand, interacting regularly with Senior Management and the front office teams. They will use their background and experience to develop and improve systems and processes, and will leverage a strong work style to liaise with Operational Managers and various related parties within the wider MMGY Global group.

The bookkeeper loves details and would enjoy executing these nitty gritty tasks regularly:

●       Recording financial transactions i.e. preparing, inputting and processing all invoices, costs etc to the accounting system

●       Handling processing and posting client invoices

●       Handling accounts payable and receivable including chasing debtors

●       Assistance with annual returns, audit, company secretarial work

●       Management, maintaining and posting petty cash

●       Providing administrative support to the teams as required

●       General office management as required

The ideal candidate would have this background;

●       Patient, affable and interpersonal

●       Ability to confidently liaise with Grifco management

●       Reasonable financial experience and knowledge of accounting software/processes and ideally knowledge of Quickbooks & Paprika (although not strictly required)

●       Ability to work autonomously [noting that help will be available when needed]

●       Strong excel, word, adobe, PowerPoint skills

●       Organised, timely and good attention to detail

This role will report into the Group Financial Controller of MMGY Global (UK) with operational reporting to the Managing Director and COO of Grifco.
