The book you're scared to write.

LET'S CHAT ABOUT YOUR UNWRITTEN BOOK.

Have you ever been in a bookstore at a shopping centre or an airport - and as your fingers breeze past all the titles of the greats in your industry, some wild thoughts begin to pop up..

“Oh my goodness, did she really choose that cover?!”

“I could’ve done so much better than this!”

“Ugh! People are going to buy this crap and she doesn’t even know what she’s talking about!”

Sound familiar?

Once you’re finished judging the author, your thoughts start hounding YOU.

“Why haven’t I written the book yet!?”

“I should’ve done it by now”

“Nobody would listen to me”

“I’m not good enough to write a book”

And it feels like a crazy circus rolling around in your mind.

And this isn’t really who you are - this judgy - and to be honest, pretty mean - character that pops out of you.

Deep down I think we can all bring instant awareness to what’s going on - yes the j-word, jealousy is there - but the problem runs deeper than that..

The reason this is happening is because a BIG part of you, the part that KNOWS they were born to deliver life-changing work into the world, is feeling completely stifled. Something in you is unfulfilled.

But then there are always the critical voices, the self-doubt, the fear that holds you back.

And so you are at war with yourself. Part of you wants to write a book, and another part shrinks back in sheer terror at the thought, filling your mind with all the “but what if nobody reads it?” or "what if I get bad reviews on Amazon?”.

And the part of you that contracts, WINS.

They win because you haven’t done it; and you’re sitting here, frustrated, reading this post.

Until you resolve the war, you’ll be in a place of self-judgement, criticism and jealousy.

Notice I didn’t say - “Until you write the book, you’ll be in a place of self-judgement..”.

Because it’s not REALLY about the book. This is about you showing up and being seen, raising your voice, speaking your opinions, putting yourself into a wider arena. The part of you that doesn’t want you to write the book probably also doesn’t want you to up-level, launch a podcast or score a TED Talk either.

Because it’s about something much deeper than any of those things.

You KNOW you have the expertise, you KNOW you offer clients extraordinary transformation, you KNOW this is what you want, you KNOW this is the work you were born for..

But a part of you is holding back, getting in your way at every turn, slowing you down and stealing killer opportunities from underneath you, leaving you feeling jealous, frustrated and unfulfilled.

AND SO THE ANSWER IS TO RESOLVE THE INNER WAR.

And to do this we release the tension between the two parts. One part of you is literally blocking your way to greatness. To release him/her - we walk them through their internal conflict, uncover what they want and need to move forward.

Once the conflict has ceased, you feel unstoppable! Your glass ceiling has been smashed and you are free to grow. We are then able to fully reconnect with your true self, what you truly want, so that you can become unstoppable!

And when you finally embody this unstoppable feeling, the world becomes your oyster! EVERYTHING is possible for you (even if right now you don’t believe it)!

What felt like you were constantly hitting your head on a ceiling before, has now opened up and you are able to transition to that next level or transition into your most meaningful life’s work with ease.

You’ll finally be the author, speaker or expert that you’ve always known you’re capable of being - publishing your best selling book, launching your incredible game-changing podcast, leading that Ted Talk or running incredible luxury retreats for your dream clients that light you up!

You’ll finally be seen as the expert you are - not from a place of ego - but just because you are finally embodying who you have always been!

You’ll be generating amazing work and resources that out-live you - truly legacy work that allows you to leave your mark on the world!

You’ll no longer question everything; instead you’ll build on a solid foundation and feel completely focused on your mission of what you want to create in the world and all of your hard work will generate crazy leaps of momentum. (Hello progress!)

You’ll no longer feel the need to do anything to impress anyone! And my absolute favourite part - your inner critic, that harsh judgement of yourself, the voices that are so hard on you will be silenced and when you look back on all you’ve achieved you’ll puff up in pride and feel that warm glow radiate through the rest of your being.
