Do Good Networking's June event will be supporting ActivGardens, part of the ActivLives charity.

DATE - Thursday 22nd June, 9:30 - 12:30

LOCATION - Chantry Walled Garden, Chantry Park, Ipswich, IP2 0BS

ActivLives are an independent charity located in Ipswich and across Suffolk. They work towards keeping people active, connected and involved with their local community through accessible sports and exercise, learning new skills and volunteering opportunities.

They have numerous sites across Ipswich and this event will be based at the Chantry Walled Garden. This is a heritage walled garden in a public park, with flower borders and vegetable-growing areas, as well as extensive glasshouses as part of their plant nursery.

Tasks on the day are likely to include general gardening tasks (watering, weeding etc) in addition to helping maintain their new look walled garden centre.

Our event starts at 9:30am and you are welcome to stay until 12:30pm, however, if you need to leave sooner then that's OK with us, we appreciate any time you can spare to support ActivGardens.
